A little ditty about self pity

I feel so sorry for myself,
Oh poor little me!
Im going to sit and have a sulk,
And seek sympathy and tea.


Although an eon has gone past,
Since someone upset me,
Im hugging “hurt” close to my chest,
I won't let it go free.

I am so comfy with my pain,
I just cannot see,
That if I let it go again,
I could much happier be.
