With all your heart and soul
But Time has reared her stunning head
And changed your normal role

What you thought was right and good
Is counter to your will
For Time has turned your mind around -
You embrace a whole new thrill

Yesterday you lusted so
For women and their charms
But just a little Time has passed
Now your place is in MY arms

Then again, Time can be cruel
She takes away our hope
For everything we're living for
Hangs from a burning rope

We need to be as one right now
But Time has gone astray
She's killing us with her movements, slow
Until our perfect day

She giveth and She takes away
So many gifts and joys
Saw fit to give us one another
Then began her painful ploy

For we've waited an eternity
We've flourished and we've grown
And Time then turns Her hands around
To leave us all alone.
