We could sure use some of this kind of justice here in the US. There have been multiple instances here of judges and prosecutors tampering with evidence, fabricating evidence, and lying in court about evidence, without any repercussions at all!

Some states do have sanctions, true, but they are seldom employed. Unbelievably, though, there are some states which actually protect prosecutors from being held accountable for their mistakes and misconduct! State bar associations can disbar such attorneys, of course, but they seldom do. Most punishments, when they are levied against prosecutors, amount to little more than "Don't do that again."
