    Feedback From The New Doms

    *nods to Tojo*

My friend asked how the new subs were doing here and if we are helping them out. I'd like to ask some questions of the new dominants 'round here.

Are you finding good information here? Are the "regular" doms approachable enough for you to feel comfortable asking us questions? Do you have suggestions for what could be better for a new dominant just recognizing this part of him/herself?

Specifically for the female dominants: Are you finding a place here? Is there anything we could do to help you along?
    Remember yourselves.

The advice here is good. I still get the most info from my pet, and that is very helpful. Sometimes coming here for a sanity check helps too.

Oh my word yes- thanks Aesop.

In my travels on the information superhighway I've been somewhat dissillusioned by the general attitude of the 'Domly Ones'. It was a huge relief to read posts by the guys here, & see a genuine caring for each other & for subs in general. I think my first posts reflected my general lack of faith (insert embarrassed smiley)

For the first time on a kinky site, I feel welcome & proud to call myself a 'Dom' (or well on the way to becoming one...)

I feel like part of a family, rather than a member of an elite set of 'Grand Masters' that all subs should bow down to.

Geez I'm in danger of actually liking the guys here! It's a worrry...

    Tojo
Happy to support new (& experienced) subs/Doms in any way I can.

The site it's self hasn't given me any new information I didn't know already. The academy seemed a bit difficult to navigate. The story division is very easy to navigate.

As far as the other Dom's here on this site. I find the ones who actively post to the boards to be rather level headed and give good advice.

I consider my self new to the lifestyle cause I have only been active for the past five years. With three years of reading everything from erotica to non-fiction documentries about BDSM that I could find.

One thing that I feel might make the Dom's more approachable is some sort of activities that we have carnal knowledge of listed in the public profile. When I say carnal knowledge, I am talking experience of more than one year doing that activity.

Though I don't post often, I've been coming here for over a year and have always found the level of conversation a 'cut above.' It's a primary source for information and confirmation and elucidation.

Oh, alright, now I'm being long-winded. The people here, no matter the label, are worth the cyber trip to visit. Thanks to you all for posting ... even when you are foolish enough to disagree with me.

Not a Dom or Domme but more than a few of them have answered questions I've had and I appreciate the gesture on their part. Everyone here seems very sincere and very helpful. That is what makes this site great. Keep up the good work!

From my past and present experiences on this forum, it has been quite helpful. First, in learning new techniques and ways to cope with certain situations. Also, great listing of FREE stories to spark the mind. Also, down-to-earth (for most part) people. So, no complaints here.
