The risk we run in this Forum and dealing with all these stories is that, for some individuals, a desensitization to rape can set in. Like video game violence, we might become a bit more callous about real rape, and--worst yet--tempted to actually do it. Few of us, I wager, have spouses/partners who really dig seriously rough role-play, so count yourself lucky Pop54!

If the girl was underage* then she was raped, regardless of her behavior. The fact that she was a shameless flirt might factor in the judge's sentencing as a "mitigating factor," but it doesn't excuse it. On the basis of the facts applied to the defined charge(s), the jury apparently did the right thing.

Here in the USA there has been a disturbing trend of "jury nullification," especially where race is involved. O.J. Simpson is the biggest example: guilty as sin, but the jury persuaded to let him off because the bleach-skinned dickhead (who spurned Blacks in every aspect of his life) was--for this case, anyway, "minority."

But I digress.

At http://www.about-rape.com/bbs/index.php somebody identified him/her/its self as a "13-year-old girl" who wants to be raped...!!! Huh?! I responded that she should get off a site like this....and suggested that "she" might be a decoy law enforcement person!!

Of course they reached the right verdict in the case over here, even my mate who was getting the hard on voted guilty... the guy was guilty as hell... Nothing excuses violent rape in reality, the term 'prick teaser' makes not a jot of difference, 'No' means 'No'... Thing that makes it all the more daft, is that the immpression everyone on that jury got was that if the guy had been gentle with the girl, and taken her true feelings into consideration instead of getting drunk and raping her in the uncaring the way he did... She would almost certainly have given herself up to him willingly eventually, and legally, Step-daughter is no blood relation.

As for OJ, well who are we to judge, the prosecution couldn't prove a case against him without a shadow of doubt, so he got off... He might even be innocent in spite of all the crap talked about him, only he knows that for sure though.

As for me and my lady, yes I'm lucky aren't I

And I'm from the UK actually mate, where we invented the terms, mate and bloke and there is a link I've no doubt to the local paper and the case in question, but I've gone far enough already disclosing all this, my mucker isn't supposed to have told anyone jury business is he.
