    Mail Setting Question

I would appreciate some advice from anyone who knows about mail settings on Yahoo. Any time I receive notification of a member replying to a thread I've posted in, or a private message e-mail notification, it seems to be sent to my spam folder on Yahoo, instead of to the regular mailbox. I would appreciate advice from anyone who would know if those settings can be changed, so that if I receive notification of a reply to a thread, or a private message, it can be sent to my regular inbox on Yahoo, instead of to the spam folder as it has since I joined the forum. Thank you.

There should be an option at the top of the message in the spam folder. Something like 'tag as not spam' or something of the like. That should put that email on your safe list. Otherwise add the email address to your contacts list.

It's the same in msn/Hotmail or Gmail; you can select some sending addresses (or domains´, e.g. bdsmlibrary.com) as "safe addresses" and then mail from those will never be treated as spam.

Just wanted to post again to thank knighty knight for his advice. The change in mail settings worked, and the mail advising of replies to posts, and PM's is now going into my inbox on Yahoo.

Another thing you can do is set up a filter to send them to a special folder.
