You're probably right. I must have done a word count on a story with lots of 'nooooooooooooo' 'thhhhwwaaaackk'and 'yeeooowwww!' that skewed the calculation.

Curtis: I prefer stories to be posted in their entirety, because often I will lose the thread of installment tales.

I agree that it can be annoying. (I noticed that The Inspector got punished by reviewers for his infrequent updates!)

The reader has a choice to ignore the story until it's finished. Personally, I think it's good to give the writer some feedback while he/she is still working on the story.
