Take Me Please

Tortured, awaiting that which proves so elusive
Agony in every passing moment unrealized
Knowing the intimate perfection to be attained
Ever wanting.

Must I rove alone through this maze of hope unfulfilled?
Enslaved to a desire audaciously enigmatic?

Passion in the realm of suspended fate
Lost time like beautiful dreams transformed into nightmares
Echoes of possibilities woven through the despair covering me
Apart from what sustains my soul
Secluded in this place far removed
Ever waiting.
