In the dark of the night

I lie in wait for my lover.

For his deep kiss

That brings me eternity

Enflaming my body

With the passion of night.

We share in the ecstasy

Forever bound to each other

We delve into the carnal pleasures

Of lust and blood

Souls lost to those which men call devils

But we are not devils,

We are more.

And we are less.

Devils envy us

For we have flesh and blood.

We can partake in hedonistic acts

Only they can dream of.

And so I wait…

To taste the salty sweet Elixir

The blood that will bring me death

And then a life of pleasure unending.
