You combine the similarities of the story with her proclivity of taking her stories from other fiction - too suspicious.

The comparision you made in your review describes many, many post-apocalyptic stories. Horseback + Radio transmissions are all over the place in the genre and practically staples of it. I don't know if there are other, more specific and damning comparisons to be made, but the type of things you brought up are not enough to accuse somebody of plagiarism.

I've seen a lot of BS accusations get flung in the past (not at me), so I'm a bit sensitive about the issue. To act with more certainty than is warranted by the evidence is a terrible mistake, in my opinion.

That was me who said she plagiarized the works of Robert Adams. Her story was so similar it was amazing and, since she tends to derive every story from some other place, it was pretty obvious where that idea came from.

I try to stick to the distinctions as outlined in the score drag-down menu, and her stuff, while bad, isn't bad or offensive in the same way a lot of the other stuff I had read recently. Probably should have given a three or a four instead of a five, but I was a bit disheartened by the claims of plagiarism by the other reviewers.

Good to see you are writing consistently. You do some good work - at least what I have read of it. I noticed that you have published quite a few things in the library. Every time I try to get to reading something I get busy/distracted and then forget. I will go and review some of your stuff soon, though.

Yeah, you are too nice in those reviews. I read a review on one of Sonya Esperanto's stories. The girl can't write a lick and doesn't try to improve. You were way too nice. Of course, I am probably one of the more cold hearted reviewers in the library. I am certainly one of the more cruel instructors in the writers block.

The writing course is going well, but at the moment stalled. I've been writing a ton, just not on that specific assignment. I posted quite a bit more to the Library since we last spoke (I'm particularly proud of 'A Tape' and 'The Emperor's Daughter'), and I've written some much longer piecies inspired by my Bad End series that I might try getting published. I'm also working on a bunch of related stories under a 'Legalized Contractual Slavery' setting (the first chapter of which is somewhere in the forums). Oh, and I just started a fairly elaborate RP piece.

And you think I'm too nice with my reviews? I bomb people pretty hard sometimes. The average is like a 5 or a 6...
