I have to be very very very very VERY excited. It is certainly linked to stimulation of the clitoris and also the urethra, or the mound just inside the vagina linked to the urethra (the 'urethral sponge' apparently), which implies g-spot stimulation; I do not know if g-spot stimulation is a necessity. However, the first time it happened to me I was just damnably excited and not specifically stimulating that area - which doesn't mean I wasn't, if you see what I mean; just not on purpose.

Also note - some people squirt a lot. Some people squirt only a very little, and may not even be aware/sure that they are squirting. But it is absolutely the most intense thing.
