Anybody have any clue what it could be? Is a doctors visit needed do you think? Could it be some sort of infection?

watch it for the next week if dosen't get better won't hurt too have it checked better to be safe than sorry Tom

i agree it wouldn't hurt to have it checked out some infections don't show until they are getting bad, and you would hate to ruin honeymoon sex over something that can be fixed in a jiffy
I would have to recommend a doctor's visit to be safe.
I agree with WB that kind of pain is not good and could be signs of more then just an infection.

There could be any number of reasons, but the duration is worrisome. Things that come to mind are pelvic inflammatory disease, fibroid, tipped uterus, ovarian cyst or even a bladder problem, such as inflammation from sex which is usually referred to as "honeymooner's cystitis."
Jumping on the band wagon and telling you to head for the Dr. I think you would rather go and find it is nothing, then not go and make it worse. Also, do not wait, go as soon as possible.
